Over and out! Boxing superstar Tyson Fury retires

Over. Over. Gone. Boxing superstar Tyson Fury is ending his unique career! The former heavyweight world champion is hanging up his boxing gloves at the age of just 36. After earlier declarations of retirement that were subsequently revised, Fury may actually mean it this time ...

"I'll make it short and sweet. I want to announce my retirement from boxing," said the Brit in a video posted on Instagram. "It was awesome. I've enjoyed every minute! Thanks to everyone who helped me." The 36-year-old celebrated 34 victories in his career, including 24 wins by knockout.

Last year, Fury lost two fights against the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, in May after a split points decision with 1:2 and a few weeks ago unanimously on points.
