Liverpool offer professional mega sum for extension

Can this contract convince Trent Alexander-Arnold to stay at Liverpool FC? After Real Madrid's intensive efforts to sign the defender, the English club have apparently decided to offer their regular player an even more financially strong contract. 

According to reports in the Mirror, Liverpool are set to offer the 26-year-old a five-year contract worth almost 94 million euros. This would see the Premier League leaders significantly outbid Real Madrid's offer.

Player keeps a low profile
The Whites are offering the England international around 17.3 million euros per year. In addition, there would be a hefty hand money for a free transfer in the summer. It would be a doubly painful loss for Liverpool. On the one hand, an important regular player would leave, and on the other, without any transfer income, with the right-back's market value standing at 75 million euros.

The player himself has not yet commented on his future. "I've signed four or five contract extensions and none of them have been publicly negotiated and discussed - and this one won't be either," he explained recently.
