In contrast to the "big boys", Salzburg's U19s continue to be extremely confident in the Youth League, winning 3:2 against Paris on Tuesday.

What a finish! On the last matchday of the league phase and in the last game of 2024, the young bulls celebrated a goal spectacle and won 3:2 against the U19s of Paris Saint-Germain. The 425 spectators - including former Bulls coach Thomas Letsch - were offered attractive soccer. Goalgetter Phillip Verhounig was once again responsible for two spectacular goals for the young bulls. The Carinthian scored the opener from a very acute angle and the 3:0 goal was a dream strike into the corner of the net. The win means Salzburg end the league phase in third place - only beaten by flawless Inter Milan and Sporting. PSG are in the hot seat in 22nd place ahead of Wednesday's games.
