East Tyrolean volunteers get new impulses

"Schaug auf di" was the motto of the regulars' table for East Tyrolean volunteers. There, the volunteers learned how to keep mentally fit during their commitment. 

It was the second edition of the "Volunteer Round Table", which was recently held in Lienz. The motto of the evening: "Schaug auf di". The main aim was to teach the many volunteers to respect themselves. The focus was on promoting mental strength in everyday life and developing new perspectives.

The aim was not to strengthen personal resources, but also to maintain the joy and energy for voluntary work in the long term.

The regulars' table was an inspiring evening full of valuable encounters that also strengthened cohesion among the volunteers.

A colorful mix from different sectors
Volunteers from a wide variety of areas - such as meals on wheels, the visiting service in residential and nursing homes or the Lienz social store - exchanged ideas and shared their experiences. Under the guidance of Chryselda Pedarnig, the participants were given tools and exercises to promote sustainable commitment.

Simone Ortner-Trebo, organizer and head of the East Tyrol Volunteer Centre, was satisfied with the event: "The regulars' table was an inspiring evening full of valuable encounters that also strengthened cohesion among the volunteers." The next edition of the Stammtisch will take place in spring.
