Ryanair will soon be flying to these destinations from Linz

Ryanair has revived the London connection to and from Linz. It is now certain that the flight offer will be expanded from 2025.

Photos were taken, cakes from Linz were handed out to the airline crew - on Friday, Ryanair celebrated the restart of its London flights at Hörsching Airport, which have been taking off from Upper Austria twice a week since October 28. And the service will be expanded from April - this time to more southerly climes.

"Ryanair is committed to expanding tourism, local jobs and connections in Upper Austria and offers a low-cost alternative to high-cost airlines," said Laudamotion Managing Director Andreas Gruber on the occasion of the resumption of London flights by the Irish airline from Hörsching.

Comeback after six years
Since October 28, Ryanair has been flying twice a week from Linz to London-Stansted and back - a comeback after six years! And it is already clear that the relationship between Upper Austria and the airline will become even closer. From April 2025, regular flights to Bari and Alicante will also be launched - twice a week in each case.

First flights on April 1 and 4
On Tuesday, April 1, Ryanair will take off for the first time to Alicante and thus to the Spanish Costa Blanca. The Bari connection will start on April 4: according to the airline's website, flights to the capital of the Italian region of Apulia will depart on Mondays and Fridays.

Alicante also new from Salzburg
The Ryanair offer in Salzburg will also grow in the coming year: as in Linz, Alicante will be added as a new destination. "As Europe's number one airline, we are delighted to be able to offer our Austrian customers even more choice and lower fares," says Gruber.
