Leader can make fall perfect at bottom of the table

Seekirchen are one game away from a perfect fall with 15 wins in 15 games. The opponent for the last task before the winter break appears to be an easy one. Why the squad led by captain Felix Eliasch must nevertheless be on their guard.

Seekirchen have marched flawlessly through the Salzburg league so far. One more game and the Flachgauers can make the fall perfect with their 15th win in 15 games. The chances of this are good, as a supposedly easy opponent awaits with bottom team SAK. 

"But SAK have nothing to lose. David has often won against Goliath," warns Seekirchen coach Mario Lapkalo. The head coach says: "SAK are in the wrong position in the table, I think they are stronger." Lapkalo grew up on the SAK pitch, walking to training as a young boy. "I started playing there when I was six," recalls the 51-year-old.

After two draws at second-placed Hallein, Bramberg want to ensure a good finish, but that will be difficult. The Tennengauers are getting better and better, while the Pinzgauers have run out of steam. "Of course, we would have preferred to have had Hallein at the start of the season," says Bramberg's section manager Martin Innerhofer.

Meanwhile: Grödig, who finished the first half of the season against Neumarkt, and Mario Lürzer are going their separate ways. The striker is now looking for a new club.
