The US presidential candidate Kamala Harris has revealed in an interview that she owns a semi-automatic pistol from the Austrian manufacturer Glock. "I have a Glock and have for some time."

When asked if she had ever fired the gun, she replied: "Of course, at a shooting range."

Although Harris is 59 years old, she had rarely mentioned her gun ownership before, which is in line with her party's line. Democrats advocate stricter gun controls, while Republicans defend the right to private gun ownership.

Vice Tim Walz also has a gun
Donald Trump had repeatedly accused Harris of wanting to confiscate guns - most recently during a TV debate, which she firmly rejected. She emphasized that both she and her deputy Tim Walz are gun owners.

The manufacturer Glock is known in the USA for its widely used handguns, which are frequently used by the police and have achieved cult status in Hollywood films.
