Man threatened to kill ex-wife and new partner

Sunday didn't start particularly well for a 39-year-old woman from Pörtschach in Carinthia. Her ex-husband suddenly turned up at her house.

Completely drunk, a man from Klagenfurt (58) made his way to his ex-wife's house early on Sunday morning, where the alcoholic then forced his way in through the open patio door shortly after 8 am.

Charges follow
"He threatened to kill her and her 43-year-old partner", according to the regional police headquarters. After the ex-wife alerted the police, the officers issued a restraining order against the 58-year-old. He will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt for making a dangerous threat.
