Drunk driver (19) without a license caused an accident

There was a crash at an intersection in Graz on Saturday night. A 19-year-old man was driving under the influence of alcohol and without a license when he collided with the car of a 17-year-old woman. She and her 18-year-old passenger were injured in the accident.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 19-year-old from Graz lost all his inhibitions: In a drunken state and without a driver's license, he drove his car on Ulmgasse in the Straßgang district of Graz. But the reckless action had fatal consequences: When turning into Kärntnerstraße, he overlooked another car.

Young drivers collided
A 17-year-old girl and her 18-year-old passenger were sitting in the car. When both vehicles tried to cross the intersection at the same time, a collision occurred. The front of the 17-year-old's car crashed into the left rear door of the Alko driver's car.

Two people injured
While the 17-year-old suffered only minor injuries, her passenger had to be taken to Graz University Hospital with undetermined injuries. The 19-year-old had a guardian angel and escaped unharmed. Both cars were totaled.
