Biker has a fatal accident in front of his friend

A motorcyclist was riding downhill in Carinthia on Thursday morning when he crashed on a left-hand bend. Unfortunately, the 39-year-old did not survive the accident.

At 10.25 a.m. on Thursday, a 39-year-old German was riding his motorcycle downhill on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road in Heiligenblut. In the area of the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe, he crashed in a left-hand bend for unknown reasons.

The 39-year-old was thrown from the motorcycle over the crash barrier and fell around 130 meters over steep, rocky terrain. All help came too late for the man, who died at the scene of the accident. His friend, who was riding directly behind him, called the emergency services.
