Manuel Ugarte could soon be chasing trophies for Manchester United. According to the French newspaper "Le Parisien", the "Red Devils" are said to have agreed a transfer with Paris Saint-Germain. 60 million euros are set to change hands.

The 23-year-old Uruguayan only moved from Sporting Lisbon to the French capital in 2023 - also for 60 million euros - and made 37 competitive appearances there last season, albeit rarely for the full 90 minutes.

No need in Paris
According to reports, coach Luis Enrique is planning for next season without the defensive midfielder and is said to have already given the green light to let Ugarte leave. 

The deal could be officially announced this week, taking Manchester United's summer spending to over 200 million euros. Just a few days ago, the Premier League top club brought Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, Leny Yoro from Lille and the two Bayern defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui on board.
