A brazen thief paid for cigarettes, clothes and food with a stolen ATM card. At least the thief was climate-friendly, as he also bought a public transport ticket on someone else's account.

The unknown thief is said to have reached into the pockets of a 31-year-old woman from the Rohrbach district while attending a course on Wienerstraße in Linz at around 5 p.m. on April 24. The theft initially went unnoticed, and it was only after several withdrawals that the victim became suspicious and filed a complaint.

Busy shopping
Before that, the thief had already made purchases at several cigarette vending machines, a petrol station and a clothing store. He is also said to have paid for a burger and a public transport ticket with the stolen card.
