Drama in Triesenberg: man run over by trailer

A tragic accident occurred on Monday in the Liechtenstein municipality of Triesenberg, not far from the border with Vorarlberg. A man was run over by a trailer and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The course of the accident can be described as highly unfortunate: A farmer wanted to reverse his van, to which a trailer was attached. In doing so, he probably overlooked a man standing behind him - he was unable to swerve in time and was run over by the trailer.

Despite immediate rescue measures, the accident victim could no longer be helped - he died on the spot.
