The center of Straßwalchen is being completely renovated during the summer vacations. The road is therefore not passable.

Seekirchen is not the only place where traffic will be severely restricted in summer: in Straßwalchen, the town center will be impassable during the summer vacations. The reason for this is the general renovation of the center.

The measure will cost a total of 1.8 million euros. "We will see significant improvements after the summer. The sidewalks will be redone, there will be new cycle paths and the bus stops will be improved," explains Mayor Tanja Kreer (SPÖ). The closure of the B1 will last from July 6 to September 8.
