Rupertikirtag is looking for talented musicians

"This year, for the first time, we would like to give talented Salzburg musicians with a penchant for traditional and new folk music a stage at the Salzburg Rupertikirtag. They will have the opportunity to present their skills and their enthusiasm for music live to a wide audience", explains Roland Aigner, Managing Director of the Altstadtverband and organizer of Rupertikirtag.

We are looking for music formations of all kinds, such as families making music, choirs and singing groups, music ensembles, individual performers and young up-and-coming talent. They will have the opportunity to perform on the stage at Domplatz every day from September 20 to 24 from 6.30 pm to 10 pm.

Anyone who is interested can apply from now until July 7, 2024. Information about the Rupertikirtag casting can be found on the website of the Altstadtverband .

On July 11, 2024, the Salzburg musicians will then be selected by a jury of experts. The team of experts, which includes representatives from Salzburg's folk culture, will make a decision based on the audio and video recordings submitted.
