Truck driver attacked a colleague with a bat

A 64-year-old truck driver attacked a colleague with a baseball bat in Bergheim (Flachgau) on Saturday evening. The two men got into an argument in the parking lot of a haulage company. The man first grabbed an axe handle and later a bat.

His opponent managed to fend off the attacks, but his truck was damaged. A breathalyzer test on the thuggish 64-year-old revealed a blood alcohol level of 1.48 per mille.

It was not known why the 64-year-old Bulgarian and his 54-year-old Romanian colleague got into such a rage. The attacker was reported to the Salzburg public prosecutor's office.
