Another long traffic jam on the Tauern highway

Everything is at a standstill on the Tauernautobahn! Once again there are long delays for travelers in front of the construction site near Golling. On Saturday morning, the traffic jam stretched all the way back to Hallein.

It was to be expected: there are currently long delays in the southbound direction in front of the tunnel construction site on the A10. 

Already last weekend and on Friday, nothing worked in this area. This is also affecting the neighboring communities due to the resulting traffic diversions.

This time it could also affect the Pongau communities, as a lot of traffic is expected to head towards Germany during the course of the day due to the change of holidaymakers. The avalanche of traffic would then come to a standstill at the Pongau end of the roadworks.
