Fists flew at a church festival

Two visitors to a church festival in Weißenstein got into a fight on Monday night. First they argued, then they physically attacked each other.

A 29-year-old man and his opponent (60) ended up in hospital after being charged with assault and battery. The men had clashed at the traditional festival in the municipality of Weißenstein at around one o'clock in the morning. What initially began as a verbal argument later turned into a physical attack. The two inflicted serious injuries to their faces with their fists. They were taken to Villach LKH by the ambulance service.
