Florianis rescued injured swan from bridge

A swan got lost in the construction site area of the Danube bridge in Krems on Thursday morning. The Florianis brought the apparently slightly injured animal to safety.

Shortly before 6 a.m., the emergency services of the Palt volunteer fire department in the district of Krems were alerted to an animal rescue. A swan was found in the construction site area of the B37 in Krems, suffering from minor injuries.

Animal rescue in the morning
The firefighters went to the scene and rescued the animal from the bridge. They then took the swan to the animal shelter in Krems. "We wish the animal a speedy recovery!" said the rescuers.
