Duck race for a good cause

In Seekirchen tomorrow, hundreds of squeaky ducks will once again be racing on the Fischach. The proceeds will benefit people in need in the Seekirchen region and surrounding area.

The Lions Club is starting the fourth duck race in Seekirchen tomorrow. At 11 a.m., the 500 or so plastic ducks will be tipped into the Fischach at the same time as everyone else from the bridge at the town harbor.

Various attractions and refreshment stations await visitors and race participants at the finish area.

Anyone who buys a duck for five euros is automatically entered into a prize draw. An e-bike worth 3000 euros and numerous other prizes are available as an incentive
