Hörl and Horst with a quick exit in Brazil

The trip to Brazil was not worth it for beach boys Julian Hörl and Alex Horst. After three defeats, they just had to return home.

Julian Hörl and Alex Horst were full of confidence after their good training in Brasilia with the top seeds Boermans/DeGroot (NL) for the Elite 16 tournament. However, they suffered their next defeat against the Chilean Grimalt-Cousins, direct rivals for an Olympic ticket for Paris, with 0:2 (-16, -14) within a short space of time.

It was particularly bitter in the last group match: In the first set against Brouwer/Meeuwsen (NL), the Beach Boys had to concede at 5:13, sealing an early exit for the Austrians.
