“Cut” by truck: cyclist seriously injured

An 84-year-old woman from Graz crashed her bicycle in Wetzelsdorf on Wednesday morning. The seriously injured woman is in Graz University Hospital. A truck could have "cut" the woman and thus be causally connected to the accident.

The woman from Graz was riding southbound in the bus lane on Straßganger Straße at around 11 am. She fell at house number 194. According to the woman herself, she had been "cut" by a truck shortly beforehand. The ambulance transported the woman from Graz to the accident hospital in Graz with serious injuries to her upper body.

Appeal for witnesses
The Graz Traffic Inspectorate is asking people who may have witnessed the accident to contact the Graz Traffic Inspectorate on 059-133-654110.
