Despite reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, the mood at FC Bayern is clouded by an offense committed by the fans. The next penalty is imminent because the supporters again set off pyrotechnic flares and displayed a banner against UEFA in the stands before kick-off!

As a reminder: UEFA had already sentenced the German record champions to a fan ban for the first leg at FC Arsenal because they had already set off pyrotechnics in the stands at Lazio Rome in the round of 16 - although the club was already on probation for similar offenses. Bayern also received a fine of 50,750 euros.

The hard core of the Munich fans seem to have become no wiser. In addition to the pyro show, they took issue with UEFA in the form of a banner. The inscription: "We don't like you either. Exclude UEFA! Get out of our stadium!" (Translated: "We don't like you either. UEFA should be excluded! Get out of our stadium!")

The successful evening is likely to have a bitter aftermath. It is quite possible that Bayern will have to do without their fans in the Champions League semi-final away to Real Madrid.
