New driver’s license holder races through Vienna at 136 km/h

On Sunday evening, the Vienna police became aware of a speeding driver in Simmering after he sped through the streets at 136 km/h.

The 20-year-old was speeding at more than 80 km/h in the middle of Sofie-Lazarsfeld-Straße at around 8 pm. The driver was a probationary driver's license holder. The officers were able to confiscate his driver's license, but not the BMW 5 Series.

He told the police that the car did not belong to him. The young driver was reported to the police.
