Flachgauer (61) transfers 35,000 euros to fraudsters

A 61-year-old man from Flachgau became a victim of fraudsters in the past few days. He transferred the five-figure sum to the fraudsters on payment platforms on the internet.

The man had been instructed by the strangers via an app to make several transactions since April 8. A total of four transfers on crypto exchange platforms and transfer providers resulted in a total loss of around 35,000 euros.

The victim filed a complaint with the police on April 13. The investigation is ongoing.
