Accident in Klaus
Drunk biker with crazy overtaking maneuver
On Saturday night, a 23-year-old motorcyclist suffered injuries of indeterminate severity in an accident on Walgaustraße in Klaus. The young man should not have been on his bike at all, as he had been looking too deeply into glass beforehand.
The motorcyclist was on Walgaustraße shortly after 11.30 p.m. - and he must have been in a hurry. In any case, he overtook a bus in front of him. Just at this point, however, a car came towards him, and the consequences were accordingly fatal: first the biker hit the bus, then the car and finally a garden wall before crashing.
Although he sustained various injuries on impact, he was very lucky in the end. What will still hurt him, however: A breathalyzer test was positive. Walgaustraße was closed in both directions for the duration of the accident investigation.
