Baby alarm! Werder legionnaire Friedl becomes a dad for the first time

Now it's "happened" - ÖFB team defender Marco Friedl and his girlfriend Ana have become parents for the first time! 

As Werder Bremen, the Tyrolean's employer, announced on Friday, the two are delighted with the birth of a boy. And the most important thing: "Mother and child are doing well!"

Last fall, Friedl had already expressed his excitement about becoming a dad to the "Bild" newspaper.

"I'm very happy. It's the first time for me. A new experience, a new challenge. It's going to be a cool time."
