Senior citizen hands over gold coins as bail to fraudsters

Concern for her daughter made a woman from Flachgau (79) an easy victim for fraudsters. She received a call claiming that her daughter had been involved in a traffic accident and would only be released on bail.

Without hesitation, the woman from Flachgau gathered her quickly available belongings - including a small amount of cash and eight gold coins - and handed over the valuables to an unknown woman.

The fraudster collected the items from the Flachgau woman's home. The investigation into the identity of the unknown fraudster and her accomplices is currently in full swing.
