Sabine Kuegler became a bestselling author as "Dschungelkind". She revealed to the "Krone" that a young tribal girl tastes the best, why male genitals are inedible, that she was never seen as either a woman or a man and how often she jumped off the brink of death.

The last of the clouds are clearing away, the sun is already peeking out. Sabine Kuegler stands on the viewing platform on the Pöstlingberg, pulls out her cell phone and takes photos. Kuegler has been invited to Linz to speak on the subject of cultural differences. And who, if not her, could do that better? After all, the German grew up in the jungle in Indonesia, became a bestselling author with "Jungle Child" and returned to her old homeland years later, terminally ill, to find a cure.
