Glasner: Football is like “marriage and divorce”

Oliver Glasner experienced a rollercoaster of emotions with Crystal Palace in their 4-2 defeat against Manchester City and used a metaphor from married life as a comparison afterwards. Soccer is "like marriage and divorce. You score a goal, concede a goal, score a goal and concede another goal," said the 49-year-old after the game.

"I feel a bit sorry for the players because they invested so much today and created good chances. But we have to accept that playing against Manchester City is not easy. So congratulations to City for their performance."

Glasner and Crystal Palace are 14th in the table, just five points away from the relegation places.
