KAC bomber Topcagic is the star of the Carinthian league. But Velden's team still has more first division experience. And Köttmannsdorf have two candidates for the coaching position. . .

Former first division professionals in the Carinthian League? There are quite a few! But one stands out at the moment: the KAC's new wonder weapon, Mihret Topcagic, who is now 35 and once played for WAC & Co - and has already scored three goals after two games for Klagenfurt. Also because he has readjusted his vision: after undergoing laser eye surgery in the summer. "I had 1.75 diopters, but now I have 100% vision again," explains the former Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Croatia international.

And things are also cooler mentally now. "It's all much more relaxed. The constant pressure of the professional business to deliver is gone. I don't have to impose myself on a new club or look at my statistics. It's the first time in my career that I'm not looking at myself and my future - just at the club and staying in the league. My mind is free," beams Topcagic.

Velden has the most first division appearances
With "Topo" (224), Sandro (134) and Peter Pucker (14), the KAC can therefore look back on 372 games in the first division! And is only second in the Carinthian league in this ranking. Because:

• Nobody has as much top league routine as Velden! Thanks to Kofler (214), Putsche (138), Wallner (54) & Zurga (53), they have 459 games!

• Bleiburg's Tolimir (185), Besic (98) and Vidmar (9) have made 292 appearances.

• At SAK, Ejup (103) & Gajic (53) played 156 top league games.

• Only Treibach, Köttmannsdorf, Lendorf and St. Jakob have no first division experience in their squads.

Two candidates
Köttmannsdorf visit Treibach today - without coach Markus Uran, who has been sacked! "There were differences of opinion," said sporting director Mathias Tschofen, who is taking over on an interim basis. The hottest candidates for the succession: Alex Suppantschitsch and Kurt Stuck!
