Glasner’s Crystal Palace draw 1-1 at Nottingham
Coach Oliver Glasner missed out on a small preliminary decision in the relegation battle in the English Premier League with Crystal Palace, but still managed to pick up a point with a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest on Saturday!
The "Eagles" are still eight points ahead of Nottingham and a relegation place. Jean-Philippe Mateta put Crystal Palace ahead (11'), Chris Wood equalized (61'). Glasner's side (14th) face neighbors Bournemouth (13th) away from home in three days' time, before Manchester City come to London next Saturday to round off the week.
Chelsea disappointing
Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Burnley and remain in mid-table in eleventh place. Tottenham, despite a 2-1 win over Luton Town, remained fifth behind Aston Villa, who beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0.
Man United draw happily
Manchester United experienced a rollercoaster of emotions. The English record champions were held to a flattering 1-1 draw at relegation-threatened FC Brentford and remain sixth in the table. The Red Devils took the lead through Mason Mount in the 96th minute, but conceded a deserved equalizer in the 99th minute through Kristoffer Ajer against a much better Brentford side. The Londoners had previously hit the crossbar four times.
