Fists flew at Salzburg main station

An argument between a Russian (28) and a German (37) escalated late on Friday evening in the area of Salzburg Central Station. The Russian threw his opponent to the ground and tried to hit him in the face with his fist. Police officers observed what was happening and intervened - then events took a turn for the worse. . . 

When the two brawlers noticed the officers, they fled. The officers quickly caught up with the Russian and arrested him. The man resisted and injured a police officer. It soon became clear that the German was banned from Austria. He was also arrested.
