Car driver shot and robbed in Dornbirn

Wild scenes unfolded on Höchsterstraße in Dornbirn at around 2.30 a.m. on Thursday morning. There, a driver was overtaken and thwarted by two previously unknown perpetrators. The men fired several shots at the driver's car, hitting him in the shoulder.  

After the victim was injured by one of the shots fired, the two perpetrators are said to have stormed towards the car. They then took a large sum of money from the 34-year-old.

Many unanswered questions
Whether the men actually stole a large sum of money, whether and why the victim had a large sum of money with him or the relationship between those involved is still under investigation.
