Vasseur flees from bird attack during interview

Frédéric Vasseur is obviously not a big fan of birds. When an interview during the Australian GP was interrupted by a feathery visitor, the Ferrari team boss did not exactly leave the bravest impression.

A video published by the official Formula 1 Instagram account together with Ferrari shows Vasseur looking around nervously during an interview with journalist Ariana Bravo. The reason for this: a bird had made itself comfortable next to the two of them and was watching the interview at close range.

When the bird then decided to fly towards Vasseur and Bravo, they fled without further ado, only to continue the interview with loud laughter.

Double victory for Scuderia
The Frenchman certainly had reason to laugh in Melbourne. After Max Verstappen retired with an engine failure, the two Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc celebrated a one-two victory at the Albert Park Circuit.
