Fieberbrunn: Women fall from bridge after party

Two German women who fell from a bridge in Fieberbrunn caused a major emergency on Sunday night. The two ended up in the bed of the stream and had to be rescued with serious injuries. It is still unclear how this happened.

The two 53-year-old women from Germany were on their way home at around 00:30 and passed a bridge in Fieberbrunn. They probably fell several meters into the depths. They were then found in the bed of the stream.

The fire department had to rescue the two women. Both suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital in St. Johann by the ambulance service.

One of the women involved could be questioned about the cause of the fall, she only stated that she had been 'partying'.
