ÖFB legionnaire in focus
Does Inter Milan want to get rid of Marko Arnautovic?
Marko Arnautovic is currently the focus of attention in Italy: after the Austrian international was injured a week ago and has been out of action for weeks, the attacker is threatened with retirement from Inter Milan.
If a report in the Italian media outlet "Calciomercato" is to be believed, the Serie A leaders are toying with the idea of getting rid of the Austrian in the summer. They are said to be dissatisfied with Arnautovic's performance. In 29 competitive matches, the Viennese has scored four goals and provided three assists.
Arnautovic is currently condemned to sit on the sidelines. He will be out for three to four weeks due to muscle blisters in his right thigh. He is expected to return for the away game at Udinese on the first weekend in April.
Search for a replacement
"Arnie" is on loan from Bologna, and Inter are obliged to buy him for eight million euros in the summer. Nevertheless, Arnautovic's era at the "Nerazzurri" could be coming to an end. Apparently, the Italian top club is already looking for a replacement for the 34-year-old.
