Unanimous vote for the big election loser! After the defeat in the municipal council and mayoral elections, the executive committee of the Salzburg City ÖVP met and quickly made a decision: they unanimously expressed their confidence in Florian Kreibich and entrusted him with the preparation for the upcoming party negotiations in the municipal council. 

Kreibich makes it clear: "In view of the clear shift to the left in the municipal council, it is all the more important that there is a clear civic corrective and that civic content and values are also reflected in the party agreement. I will fight for this with all my strength." And: "Our position paper will contain very clear red lines that must not be crossed. These include a solid financial policy with balanced budgets and no new debt."
