Unmasked knifeman attacks Linz tobacconist’s shop

An unknown man entered a tobacconist's in Stockhofstraße in Linz at 4.30 pm on Tuesday and demanded money armed with a knife. The unmasked robber was able to escape - the police are asking for information.

A huge shock for an employee of a tobacconist's in Linz: A man around 50-60 years old entered the store on Tuesday evening, armed with a knife and demanding money. Although the perpetrator was not masked, he was able to flee undetected.

The fugitive is said to be about 160-170 cm tall, wearing a dark blue jacket with a hood and dark blue jeans with several zippers. He is described by the Trafik employee as a light-colored man with a gray three-day beard and leathery, tanned skin and appeared to be in a state of disrepair.

The police are asking for information on 059133-40 33 33. The Chamber of Commerce has offered a cash reward of 1000 euros for the robbery
