Marin Hinkle is getting divorced after 26 years

If you've been following the hilarious divorce drama in the popular TV series "Two and a Half Men", the following news will probably make you smile: US actress Marin Hinkle, who played Alan's ex-wife in the show, and her long-time partner Randall Sommer have finalized their divorce.

"Two and a Half Men" star Marin Hinkle, who played Judith, Alan's neurotic ex-wife in the popular series, is now getting divorced in real life too. Hinkle's divorce is expected to be a little more peaceful than the chaotic divorce drama on TV.

People magazine reported, citing available court documents, that the two "have reached a written agreement that spells out the details of their separation".

The legal fees were agreed by mutual consent between the ex-partners. According to People, Hinkle had already filed for divorce from Sommer in September after 26 years. The "Two and a Half Men" star cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.

"We remain loving friends"
"After careful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage," they wrote in a joint statement released to the magazine. "We remain loving friends with mutual respect, admiration and love for each other and for our son."

Hinkle and Sommer were married in August 1997. They have a son, Ben. They kept their private life largely out of the public eye.
