“Heiligenblut ski resort must be in new hands!”

100 percent of the Heiligenblut ski resort should be placed in new hands. This is the only way to save it. The current owners would therefore have to give up all of their shares.

"There are interested entrepreneurs from the region. They will be presented on Monday," says Provincial Councillor for Tourism Sebastian Schuschnig, who is calling for a completely new start. "However, the owners must give up their shares in full. Because the state will not - as the current owners are demanding - finance permanent disposals from tax revenue." This is also the view of Mayor Martin Lackner.

The municipality and province have submitted an offer to the two owners, Schröcksnadel and Schmidl, for the realignment of the Großglockner Bergbahnen Heiligenblut. "It is now the responsibility of the owners to make this new start and the long-term safeguarding of the Heiligenblut/Großglockner ski area possible! And that is only possible through a handover," they agree and hope that the shares will be handed over.
