Torn dress! Stone accepts Oscar stunned

A little faux pas happened to actress Emma Stone, who won the Oscar for "Best Actress in a Leading Role". She probably didn't expect it, because embarrassed, she accepted her Oscar in a torn dress.

It was a neck-and-neck race between Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone for the Oscar in the "Best Actress in a Leading Role" category.

In the end, Stone won the race. Totally stunned, she first hugged her husband and then "Poor Things" co-star Mark Ruffalo.

"While 'I'm Just Ken' was happening"
Stone then took to the stage to accept her award for her role in "Poor Things". But oops! The 35-year-old's dress seemed to have torn.

Embarrassed, Stone went on stage holding the back of her dream dress by Louis Vuitton with an XXL peplum. "My dress broke. I'm sure it happened during the song 'I'm Just Ken'," the actress explained with a laugh.

"It's not about me. It's about a team that came together to do something great. Thank you so much for letting me be Bella Baxter," Emma Stone said with emotion.

In her tearful speech, the 35-year-old also thanked her little three-year-old daughter, who had "completely turned her life upside down".
