Knife attack: Man left seriously injured

Kicked with his feet, cuts added: A 27-year-old seriously injured a man from Klagenfurt in his apartment. On the run, he also attacked a child and his mother. 

A 52-year-old man from Klagenfurt was beaten to the ground with his fists, kicked with his feet and cut on his back with a knife by a 27-year-old man in his apartment at around midday on Saturday. The man remained seriously injured on the floor after the perpetrator from Klagenfurt fled.

However, the Carinthian did not flee quietly, but attacked a ten-year-old and his mother in the stairwell. "Fortunately, the two were unharmed," said the police, describing the incident. 

After the emergency services were alerted, the perpetrator was arrested in a street next door. Why he attacked the 52-year-old is being investigated.
