Kate Moss lookalike fools guests at fashion show
At the womenswear fall/winter 2024-2025 show by fashion label Marine Serre during Paris Fashion Week, a Kate Moss lookalike strutted down the catwalk and fooled the audience into thinking it was the real Kate Moss.
Denise Ohnona is a very well-known Moss lookalike in Great Britain. The fashion house Marine Serre reportedly hired her for a surprise appearance on the catwalk at the fashion show. A successful gag!
Typical Moss style
Ohnona presented leather trousers with a horseshoe pattern, an oversized white button-down shirt and a leather jacket. All a nod to the famous style that supermodel Kate Moss has been wearing since the 90s.
Striking resemblance
Guests at the show spoke of the striking resemblance to Moss and some probably believed until the end that it was indeed her.
Intimidated at first
Denise Ohnana herself thrives on her resemblance to the 50-year-old fashion icon. She even runs an Instagram account under the name "iamnotkatemoss".
She confessed that she was intimidated at first when people started taking photos of her. She felt like an imposter, "a fake Moss", she told the British Daily Mail a few years ago.
And revealed: "But over time I started to enjoy it and now find it very flattering-who wouldn't want to be mistaken for Kate Moss? She's one of the most incredible, iconic women of all time!"
