Next cancellation in the Ski World Cup!
The men's Alpine Ski World Cup giant slalom scheduled for Saturday in Kranjska Gora (Slovenia) has been canceled due to unfavorable weather and snow conditions. This was announced by the International Ski Federation (FIS) on Tuesday.
Instead of the giant slalom, the slalom will now take place, which has been brought forward from Sunday to Saturday (9.30/12.30, live in the sportkrone.at ticker).
Will Feller take the slalom globe?
In the slalom, Manuel Feller can secure the small crystal globe. He is 169 points ahead of the German Linus Straßer with two races to go. The giant slalom has already been decided after Switzerland's Marco Odermatt has won all the races so far this season.
Two other disciplines are still open in the men's downhill and super-G. In both cases Odermatt is the hunted, in the super-G ÖSV athlete Vincent Kriechmayr still has a minimal chance of winning the globe.
