Cause of death of Hertha boss Bernstein has been clarified

The cause of Kay Bernstein's death has been clarified. The president of Hertha BSC died of natural causes.

This was the conclusion reached by the public prosecutor's office in Frankfurt following a toxicological and histological examination, as reported by "Bild" on Friday afternoon.

"The most common cause of death"
Bernstein died suddenly on January 16 at the age of 43. An autopsy was ordered due to the unexplained cause of death. Soon there was talk of a "most likely natural death". This version is now officially confirmed and official. However, the public prosecutor's office did not release any more detailed information. In the newspaper "Bild", Peter Sefrin, a doctor from the German Red Cross, said: "The most likely scenario in this case is clearly a heart attack." This is "the most common cause of death in such young people".
