Fierce analysis:
“Trump has acted like Putin’s plaything”
In an interview on krone.tv, US campaign consultant Yussi Pick analyzes the current US election campaign in fierce terms: "Trump may have a firm grip on the Republican core, but he still has to win over the moderate Republicans."
Trump's motivation to attack NATO countries that pay too little into the NATO budget and are therefore no longer supported by the USA is also paying into this hard core of Republican voters. Pick also reports on the once very close relationship between Trump and Putin during his US presidency - and adds drastically: "Trump acted like Putin's toy."
"With Trump, Ukraine defeat is sealed"
Yussi Pick also mentions the clear impact on Europe if Trump were to win the upcoming US presidential election campaign: "The Trump wing of the Republicans does not support Ukraine." Ultimately, he also answers the question of whether Ukraine's defeat is inevitable: "With Trump as president, the Ukrainians' defeat in the war against Russia is sealed." Trump's relationship with Israel, on the other hand, has always been divided.
Biden, in turn, is helped by the current good economic data in the USA. As has been stated before: "It's the economy, stupid."
The numerous current lawsuits surrounding Donald Trump could in any case diminish his re-election prospects. The decision will be made in the US election on November 5.
