Drama in the Tyrolean ski resort of Ischgl: a Pole (49) went over the edge of the slope with his skis and fell around 30 meters. All help came too late for the winter sports enthusiast.

The drama occurred on Wednesday. In the Silvretta Arena ski area in Ischgl, the 49-year-old was skiing down black piste number 34 in the direction of "Paznauner Thaja". "At the end of the steep slope, he went over the edge of the piste," said the police. 

The 49-year-old died in the ski area.
