The sudden and premature end of the "Get out of oil and gas" subsidies has caught many off guard. "There is still a lot of potential in Upper Austria," regrets Martin Kloboucnik, Managing Director of the Linz-based heating technology company Wolf. Especially because many lower-income households were unable to benefit from the subsidies.
