Man threatened to kill wife with knife

On Sunday night, a married couple got into an argument in Oberndorf (Salzburg). The Bosnian husband (51) threatened his wife (46) with a knife and threatened to kill her.

The 46-year-old Bosnian woman wanted to leave the apartment in the course of an argument. Her 51-year-old Bosnian husband followed her and tried to stop her. He held a knife towards the woman and threatened to kill her.

The victim managed to escape from the apartment with the help of her daughter-in-law, who was also present. They then called the police.

The police issued a restraining order against the accused and he was taken to prison by order of the public prosecutor's office.
